Wilson's Point Sign.
Here visitors can find the landing dock and a cemetery with many of the Scottish people who came to the area originally. There is also a church there that has been converted into the Scottish Interpretive Centre.

Nowadays, Wilson's Point is used for the walking trails, and the Scottish Interpretive Centre is open during the summers for tours or the historic site and the cemetery.

There are also a couple of memorials to the Scottish settlers who came to Wilson's Point, which are located both through the gates pictured above and just before them.
This is a memorial to William Davidson, who brought men to settle the area in the fishing and ship building industries.
Little bridge over to memorial site, just before the gate.
This memorial is called the Great Upheaval and is dedicated to all the Acadians who lost their lives in the moved from France.
While the interpretive centre is only open during the summer, the trails are open and accessible up until the heavy snow comes. The trails are worth checking out now and even more so in the fall when the leaves are starting to change. It's a beautiful area that makes up a big part of Miramichi's history.
