Things to Do: Stewart's Tubing

Looking for a fun way to cool off during the summer? Head over to Stewart's Tubing in Lyttletown, New Brunswick (about 30 minutes outside of town) for a refreshing, fun-filled ride down the Southwest Miramichi River.

Stewart's Tubing rules.

For $15 for adults and $10 for children, you can spend roughly two to three hours floating down the river, depending on how high the water is. Sitting for three hours in the sun can make anyone thirsty, so there are cooler tubes available to rent for $5. Does your dog like the water? Rent a dog tube for $10 and your furry friend can go along for the ride.

A fun special they have for anyone who wants to spend the day on the river is a 3-for-2. This works really well when the water levels are high and you go through faster. The deal is you pay for two trips down the river and if there's time to go, you can get the third ride free.

Worried about losing things? They ask that you keep all valuables in your car and lock it, at which time they will take your keys and hang them inside the ticket kiosk for when you get back.

The open space to park the cars.

Hungry? There's a canteen on site with a variety of different foods that you can purchase to eat either before or after your water adventure.
