Are you a fan of pub food? Then Chatters is the place to be!

Originally an Indian restaurant, Chatters was then bought by the -- family and turned into a Korean restaurant. When that wasn't as well received as expected, they changed their look and that's what resulted in the new pub.

Their new menu does include some of the items they used to have when it was a Korean restaurant, but the majority of items are pub food items.

Places to Eat: The Goodie Shop Restaurant & Banquet Facility

If you're a fan of breakfast, then The Goodie Shop is the place to be! Enjoy all-day breakfast here with lots to choose from. Located by the Newcastle Town Square, The Goodie Shop plays a big role in events thanks to their banquet hall upstairs.

The restaurant opened Nov. 2, 1987 and has been a staple in the community ever since, participating in the annual Rock 'N' Roll Festival for the Golden Oldie Car Show meet and greet. The decor has retained its old-fashioned look, which is something customers find inviting.

The Goodie Shop is open every day for breakfast and lunch. While they specialize in breakfast foods, they do also offer a lunch menu. They are open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Thursday; 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday; and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
